Fully-furnished, bright and modern family home in Leslieville We’re moving abroad for 1-3 years and looking for a family to enjoy and take care of our newly-renovated three-storey family home in Leslieville, Toronto. Our bright home is tucked away on a quiet cul de sac with plenty of kids playing on the street, a small front yard, two large decks and one parking spot. Two-minute walk to Queen Street streetcar, walking distance to large grocery stores and great schools. Bell fibre wi-fi. We’re writers with three kids and we have a thoughtful collection of graphic novels for all ages, board games, toys and more. We can leave all, none, or some of them for your family to enjoy. Main Floor: Hang out in the mid-century modern living room with a new (2023) TK smart, flatscreen TV and huge windows overlooking the front yard. Everything you need to entertain in a large kitchen with a new oven (2022) fridge and dishwasher (2023), microwave and granite-topped breakfast bar seating three. Seat up to 12 guests at a custom, live edge dining room table. A sun-filled playroom stocked with toys keeps the kids busy while you cook. This can easily be converted into an office or study space by switching out the furniture. Walk out onto a back deck with a table and chairs seating six, and charcoal barbeque. Second Floor: Three bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer, and two newly-renovated spa washrooms with steam room and jacuzzi tub. The Master bedroom has a bathroom and walk-in closet. The bedroom is bright and airy with large windows, blackout blinds, a king-sized bed and dresser. Master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, double sinks and newly retiled shower with rain head, connecting to a walk-in closet. Second bedroom sleeps two with a playful bunk bed, large bookshelf and closet. Third bedroom sleeps one in a new West Elm loft bed with a desk for homework, closet and cozy shag rug. A tween’s dream! Second-floor bathroom: Shower/steam room, heated bidet-style toilet, bright and airy. Third Floor: Host movie nights, parties or chill as a family in a newly renovated, open-concept family room (2023) with a custom built-in entertainment system, cozy reading nook and bookshelves stocked with graphic novels and books for all ages, a large, flat screen smart TV (2023), huge custom couch seating 12 and tons of built-in storage, plus a hand-made dollhouse newly painted. A private, gorgeous office with large, built-in desk, custom storage and a wet bar so you can entertain, or have a cool drink on the sun-soaked third floor deck. The Set Up: Our property has a small garage/loft space (which is the owner's private property), a bright, airy three-storey home, and basement apartment with a separate entrance. The tenants of the main house will have exclusive use of the parking spot in front of the garage, the front yard and both decks. The two-bedroom, basement apartment newly sound-proofed (2024) will be rented separately. If you would like the basement apartment included, we can discuss a price for both. Utilities and wi-fi not included, renter will pay 2/3, while the basement apartment renters will cover the other third. Furniture & Belongings are negotiable: We’d love to leave most of our furniture in the house, but may be able to store a few pieces off-site if needed. We can clear out all of our belongings, or work with you to keep all or some of the books, toys, kitchen equipment etc. in the house for your family to enjoy.
