Country living farm house

After many years of design and renovation, this 205 year old farm house has been updated with many amenities. The home comes with a terrific view and a big back yard with plenty of room to throw a frisbee. The neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful and safe. There is a large outdoor deck with a gas barbeque and lots of seating for entertaining friends and family. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a gourmet meal Careful attention was given to the layout of the kitchen floor plan and selection of the appliances needed for the serious cook. The home is heated and cooled with air source heat pumps. All three bedrooms have continuous fresh air pumped into the rooms that makes it seem like you are outdoors. There is a master bedroom and bathroom with a private balcony that overlooks the hills and valleys of Brooktondale. The other two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower. There is also a 3/4 bathroom on the first floor with a shower. The completely remodeled home makes you feel like you are back in time due to the architectural details on the doors, windows, baseboard trim and hardware. All expenses are included in the rental price and they include the following: High speed internet and TV, electric, gas (kitchen stove), ADT security and fire monitoring, lawn mowing, snow plowing, garbage and recycling pick-up, and a professional cleaning service. Storage and the use of a large barn/garage is available. The home lies within the Ithaca City School District and is approximately 7 minutes from downtown Ithaca and 5 minutes from the Cornell Campus. On a personal note, I put my heart and soul into rebuilding this old house. In fact, many of my former students worked on the house as part of my 8th grade Technology Engineering class project. Careful attention was given to preserving all of the old doors, hardware and flooring. During the renovation, and old diary was found in the house. Reading from the cursive, pen and ink diary before class started became a daily ritual. Note, the final design and floor plan was designed by some of my students.
