Within minutes of a major bike trail heading downtown, and close to two large shopping centres with all services, and a recreation centre with swimming pool. The property is few minutes walk to a large wilderness park and several off-leash parks for dogs, as well as an extensive mountain-bike facility. A few minutes drive takes you to several local farms selling organic produce, wine, and cider. One bright bedroom downstairs, close to the main bathroom with soaker tub, is equipped with desk, double-bed, closet and bookshelf. Two beautiful windows overlook the back garden. The main bedroom upstairs is large with a walk in closet and ensuite bathroom, with windows overlooking the garden in front of the house. Both bedrooms are fully outfitted with several duvets, linens, and plentiful towels and pillows. Off the main bedroom is a large, sound-proofed, office with striking views over the garden and surrounding forest. The large laundry and utility room is equipped with a large washer and dryer, drying racks, sink, and counter space. This room is also outfitted with a large table for hobbies and crafts. Outside, there is parking for two cars. The front garden is landscaped with many native plants and shrubs and a lovely sunny brick patio. The back garden includes a frog pond, and two large vegetable gardens with fruit trees and berry bushes. Many tall fir trees and shrubs provide privacy. There is a large tree house for a dramatic escape from worldly concerns, and many seating areas. All utilities are included with unlimited high speed wifi. New solar panels provide most of the electricity, and the house can be heated largely with the wood and propane stoves if preferred. The house is best suited for families with a passion for the natural world, with many homey touches, privacy, and many walking and biking opportunities.
