Located in the well-established neighbourhood of Monkland Village, our home was built in 1922 and has been beautifully maintained with original hardwood floor and gorgeous nine-foot high ceilings. The brick facade speaks to the character of the original homes in this neighbourhood. The kitchen and bathroom have been tastefully renovated and the addition on the back adds another 500 feet of living space, perfect for doing yoga, reading, painting or having drinks with friends. There are two office spaces in the home for those who work from home, one overlooks the backyard and the other the street we live on. Our neighbourhood is quiet, family friendly with boutiques, restaurants, bakeries and parks within a ten minute walk. There are also multiple parks and three excellent elementary schools (two Francophone and one immersion) within fifteen minute walks. Concordia and McGill Universities are both a 30 minute subway ride away. Ideally, we are looking for a family of four who would like to lovingly care for our home, watering our plants and tending to some of the outdoor tasks. Since our home is a duplex, we share a central wall with our next door elderly neighbour.
