Light-filled home on quiet street, great neighborhood, near public transit

Description

We're spending four months in Germany and would love someone responsible to rent our home while we're gone. The house is modest but practical, on a quiet street, with friendly and helpful neighbors. There are coffee shops, a drugstore, and deli just two blocks away, and it's a 15-minute walk to the Tenleytown metro, grocery store, and restaurants. It's a short walk to American University. The house has two bedrooms, one of which has a futon bed plus a standing/sitting work table, and an additional small room is set up as an office. There's another full-size bed and small bathroom in the finished basement. The house has central AC, but the upstairs can get warm on hot summer days. There's solid internet. You're welcome to use our bicycles, which are in a garage in the backyard. The kitchen is small, but fully stocked with everything you need.
