After over 2 decades in this house, we are relocating out of province for work and looking to rent our family home while we get settled in our new city. Our house is perfect for a family, and was a wonderful place to raise our three kids. We are hoping to find tenants who will love it as much as we have. The house is large and comfortable, just steps away from the river and Meewasin Trail system. Nutana is a fantastic and vibrant neighbourhood with old homes and lots of trees. From our house, you can be at the university/Royal University Hospital or downtown within a 15 minute walk or even shorter bike ride. Broadway, with its shops and restaurants, is not even a 10 minute walk, and there are 2 elementary schools (one English, one French) within an easy walk as well. The house is roughly 2500 square feet and has a living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath, and TV room/den on the main floor, with 3 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. Additionally, there's a full finished basement with a large main area with a TV, another bathroom with shower, and an additional room that can be used as a (non-legal) bedroom or office space. There's a large driveway with room for 2 cars, decks on the main and second floors, a small garage for storage of bikes, etc, and a nice yard. The house will be available by mid-July--possibly earlier in the month. We are looking for a one year lease, after which there would be the possibility of extending.
