Charming, furnished family home, overlooking park, in heart of Capitol Hill

Our family of four loved this home and the fantastic walkable neighborhood of Capitol Hill in Washington DC for many years. We are now on an overseas assignment, and so are looking for reliable tenants seeking a comfortable, furnished home in Washington DC, who would enjoy it and care for it as much as we have. The home has two double bedrooms, and a third room that can serve as a home office, or single child's room. Two upstairs bathrooms (one ensuite to the master), and a half bath downstairs. Fully equipped (with towels, linens, kitted out kitchen, etc), and tastefully decorated (note that the upstairs pictures reflect our 'lived-in' conditions). Our ideal tenants would be looking for somewhere for the full academic year, from mid-August 2024, but we have flexibility for the rental period to go for more than one year. GW University is 15-20 minutes away by direct metro line (the metro station is 5 mins walk). Johns' Hopkins SAIS and Georgetown also within easy reach. The excellent neighborhood elementary school (Brent ES) is 3 mins away across the lovely park, which our home overlooks. Whole Foods within 5 mins walk, and Eastern Market/Trader Joes about 8-10 mins walk. The home has a basement apartment, which is not part of the rental, where we keep personal belongings and which we would periodically utilize on work visits to DC every few months. Parking is on-street.
