I am a professor at UC Berkeley and my wife and I are looking to rent our in-law unit, which is separate from our main house. The property is lined with trees and local flora for privacy; songbirds and deer are frequent visitors. The apartment is cozy and modernly furnished; it is well-equipped for an individual or a couple (full kitchen, separate bedroom, etc). Our neighborhood is quiet and the property is walking distance to beautiful trails. Montclair Village is a short drive down the hill, which has grocery stores, restaurants, and a weekly farmers market on Sundays throughout the year. UC Berkeley campus is a 15-20 minute drive or bikeable if you don't mind hills! Rental includes a parking space and access to our laundry room.
