Description
We are a semi-retired couple who bought here two years ago while looking for a 'green build' in the Victoria area. We love the area which includes close-by hiking at Thetis Lake Park, cycling on the Galloping Goose/E&N bike trails, kayaking on the Gorge. We have a basement suite downstairs with a couple who are both students (U Vic and Camosun). She often bikes to the UVic campus. We really enjoy the closeness to the downtown (10 minute drive, 15 minute bike ride, 60 minute walk mainly along the water.)
