A former newspaper and magazine writer who worked for years in Washington and overeas, I enjoy hosting travelers and welcome academic visitors and their families. My home is comfortable and accessible to many Capital City delights, including historic Eastern Market, Lincoln Park and such nightlife haunts as Barracks Row and the H Street Corridor. Congress, Library of Congress and monumental Washington lie within walking distance and the Wharf along the Potomac River is nearby.
