This lovely studio apartment offers an ideal arrangement located at the back of a beautiful 1906 Classic Box house with a semi-private deck facing a large, mature backyard garden. The location is ideally located just south of downtown in a tight-knit neighborly residential section that is spared much of the downtown car traffic thanks to our infamous white traffic barriers. The UC Campus is just blocks away via Berkeley's most protected bicycle boulevard Milvia St and arguably one of the world's best grocery stores, The Berkeley Bowl Marketplace, is just a few blocks as well. The owners live in the front of the building and there are a total of 4 units in the building. Shared laundry is down a flight of stairs. Kitchen is fully functional with everything needed to make all but the most complicated meals. There is no rooster but the chickens do wake up at the crack of dawn and make noise of their own so not ideal for light or late sleepers. Fine to have occasional overnight guests but space is a bit too small to have 2 people over an extended period.
