The semi-retired owner and her small, friendly dog live upstairs in a completely separate flat with an outside staircase. She is very respectful of privacy and is a long-time Rockridge resident, available for assistance if needed. LGBTQ+ friendly. Nearby College Avenue extends north to Elmwood in Berkeley before ending at UC Berkeley. Walk 3 blocks west to the heart of the Temescal neighborhood or take a 10-minute walk to Piedmont Avenue to explore more restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. BART is a 4-block walk for trains into SF, and there is easy access to major freeways 24, 80, 880 and 580 for adventures to the coast, the wine country or the Sierras. Take a short drive to the East Bay Regional Parks for lovely hikes through redwoods with stunning vistas, or stroll at the Berkeley Marina along San Francisco Bay.
