The available space is approximately 1350 square feet; there are two walk in closets, 30 feet of bookshelves, a desk, fireplace, sitting area, and additional bookshelves at the nightstands. The bathroom includes a jacuzzi and steam room. The main living quarters have a washer and dryer centrally located in the home. The kitchen appliances are all less than six years old. The range is very powerful, which is great if you're a serious cook. In addition to the standard coffee maker there is also an espresso maker and milk steamer, immersion blender, stand mixer, standard toaster oven, slow cooker, etc., along with a variety of cookbooks. The kitchen has a surprising amount of storage space for food. The neighbors next door have a large bunny hutch built out of branches, along with many bird feeders. There are always a lot of animals in the backyard, including a duck family every spring. In part because of this, chemicals are not used on the lawn. Chairs are available for the backyard, which is quite peaceful. There are good vegetarian and vegan restaurants within walking and cycling distance. Whole Foods is about a mile away and an upscale grocery, Kowalski's, is about a mile and a half away. Highland Park, an active, busy neighborhood, is about two miles away. The shower in the bedroom will need to be shared two to three times each week. The other bathrooms have 100 year old plumbing and at some point will be remodeled. Until then, unfortunately, there is one shower that works. The roof windows in the bedroom for rent cannot be opened, in spite of having screens. This is due to the fact because the windows are fire-code approved, the screens must easily come off. The cats can easily push their way through the screens. Because of this I request the windows remain closed. The dressing room windows and hallway windows can open.
