Hi, I'm considering subletting this space from September 1st, 2024 until April 30th, 2025 (single occupancy only) for $3,321 per month furnished and with utilities included. Pretty much just need to bring your clothes and toiletries and you should be good to go. This tiny home is centrally located in a safe, quiet, and tree-lined neighbourhood with plenty of amenities nearby (groceries, parks, trails, shopping, recreation centres, etc.) Public transportation is also accessible nearby via a 2-minute walk. The detached, self-contained guesthouse (does not share a wall with anyone and no one living above or below you) is fully furnished and has a private entry and high ceilings. Your very own place with a full kitchen, a dining/working area, small living area, full bathroom, and a queen size bed in the upper loft area (accessible via a short set of stairs). The space is small but charming and private with plenty of natural light (south-facing). Free parking is available directly outside the unit and the location is an approximate 5-minute drive to Camosun College (Interurban Campus), 12-minute drive to the University of Victoria, and a 10-minute drive to Royal Roads University. Also a 12-minute drive to Downtown Victoria. If taking public transporation, Bus route #22 to Downtown is a 20-mins ride with a bus stop located across the street, and bus route #51 to UVic (22-mins ride) is located 500m away. Camosun Interurban is a 13-mins bus ride with stop located 1km away. Shopping and groceries are also within a 10-minute bus ride. No dishwasher or laundry on-site however, there is a laundromat nearby (a 5-minute drive) with a large grocery store across the street from it. Wall art may also be removed if preferred. Lease terms include a $1,660.50 security deposit which will be refunded upon move out (provided that the space is kept in good condition). Utilities included are internet, hydro (dedicated hot water tank), heating, and garbage and recycling removal. For a single occupant only. No partying, subletting, or pets. Also no smoking or vaping indoors (there is a small covered patio directly outside the tiny home's entrance). Sublet may possibly be renewed for the following fall/winter semesters (2025) if the right tenant is found. If in case you are visiting Victoria, BC, it might be possible to try living in the space for a few days prior to committing to an extended tenancy.
