I'm looking for a person or couple to sublet my apartment in a beautiful historic 4 unit building in Mount Pleasant. The dates are somewhat flexible, aiming to have someone stay minimum 3 weeks and maximum 12 months. Apartment: The 1 BD/ 1 BR apartment is large and spacious (820 sq ft) on the top 2 floors of the building and it is fully furnished. The first floor has a bright and sunny living room, dining area, and kitchen. There is a large TV (55”) that has a fire stick for streaming services and over-the-air HD antenna for viewing that way too. The second floor has an office area, large sunlit bedroom with walk-in closet, a bathroom with shower and tub, and a washer and dryer. You’ll also have access to an off street parking spot. Location: The apartment is in a fantastic area as Mount Pleasant has a great neighborhood feel, nice Saturday farmers market, lovely public library branch, and great restaurants and cafes just a block away. It’s walking distance to Rock Creek Park, the National Zoo, and many parks & playgrounds. Columbia Heights metro is a 5 minute walk and there are a ton of bus lines nearby.
