This bright and sunny apartment will be a perfect home base for anyone looking to explore Lincoln park and Chicago city. It is located in a quiet tree-lined street and in walking distance to dozens of restaurant, shops, cafes, and great grocery options (including Dom's Kitchen and Trader' Joes). It is mere minutes away from public transportation, that is, bus lines and the CTA red, brown, purple lines that will direct you to downtown in around 20 minutes where one can find all the major museums and concert halls. You will also be in walking distance to DePaul University and will be very close to Jonquil park and its tennis court as well as the Chicago Athletic club. Just over a mile from the North Pond Nature Sanctuary and Michigan Lake you will find yourself in the center of the best things the city has to offer. With lots of vintage charm to experience, the apartment is located on the first floor of a Chicago historic landmark building. With no shared ceilings you will find an extra quiet calm atmosphere, while each room is filled with lots of natural sunlight. Come to a restful retreat with high end mattresses, a large living room with decorative fireplace, a spacious dining room close to the fully equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances (including a blender and juicer). Sip your morning coffee on a lovely balcony or the cozy back patio and enjoy the latest in smart appliances. They include a Smart TV, a reverse osmosis water system for unlimited healthy drinking water as well as an infrared sauna for extra relaxation. The apartment stretches across 1000 square feet and can conveniently host 3-4 people. The master bedroom has one queen bed and also provides a large closet. The second bedroom has a full size bed and a large wardrobe armoire. It additionally offers a spacious work (or play) area along with a printer. The unit also has a washer and dryer for all of your washing needs. We love where we live and we love hosting on Sabbatical Homes! We’re sure you’ll love staying with us, too.
