The Aerie is a unique, fully-equipped apartment in the heart of downtown Toronto. It is the third floor of our home, but it is private, self-contained, and has a separate entrance. Experience the calm and privacy of a quiet residential neighborhood, while enjoying the convenience of being steps away from the central business and entertainment districts. The Aerie gets its name from the family that lived in the house in the late 1800s, who were known as the Berkeley Street Eagles. Also, like an eagle's nest, it looks over the rest of the neighborhood from a surprising height. The apartment features an eat-in kitchen, with a full-sized refrigerator, induction stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully stocked with every item you might need for cooking, baking, dining, or entertaining. The main space includes a queen-sized bed with a pillowtop mattress, and a sectional sofa that can be converted into a full-sized bed. There are plenty of storage dressers and hanging space for clothes and other personal items. There is a 55" OLED television, and it's all set up with streaming services and basic cable. Best of all, a gas fireplace makes the space feel especially cozy and welcoming. The spacious bathroom features a separate shower and bathtub, as well as a skylight. A washer and vented dryer can be found in the main closet, along with laundry and cleaning essentials. Other things to note: * For long stays, we will accept and store advance grocery orders on guests' behalf. * Baby items are available upon request, including bedding, booster seat/high chair, and stroller. * Additional mattresses and bedding may be available for families. * We can help to arrange affordable short-term street parking permits.
