It's less than five minutes walk to The Point (a gorgeous park on the lake with swimming, fire pits, etc) and less than ten minutes to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, yoga studios along 53rd street. I teach at UChicago and enjoy walking to campus, which takes about 25 minutes.
