A fully furnished studio apartment in the Fenway neighborhood for sublet from May 1st to August 29, 2024. The unit is on the third floor of a well-maintained apartment building occupied mostly by medical professionals. There is a separate kitchen and eating area, as well as a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. The apartment has five windows with unobstructed view onto Park Drive and Brookline Ave. The unit is brightly lit during the day and quiet at night. There is one, full-sized bed in the apartment, a lounge chair, kitchen table, built-in closet, and additional shelving. The kitchen has a dishwasher, gas stove, and full fridge. The apartment is perfect for a single person or a couple, but not suitable for roommates. About myself: I am a postdoctoral researcher at MIT. I'm going away for the summer and wish to sublet to a responsible, quiet, clean, non-smoking individual who will be respectful to my home. I love living in my neighborhood because of the proximity of the Fens (a historic Olmsted park right next to the building) and the many shops and restaurants within walking distance (the TimeOut Market on Brookline Ave is a block away, for example). The Boston MFA and the Gardner Museum are both close by for art lovers. The Fenway Park is not close enough to be a nuisance. The location is extremely conveniently if you need to get to other parts of the city by public transportation: there are several subway and bus stops nearby and public bike rental. I expect the subletter to sign a standard sublease agreement, make rental payment up front and $750 security deposit. Monthly rent includes all utilities: WIFI, heat, water, gas, and electricity. I will keep a number of personal items and all home decorations in place since this is a short-term sublet. I will provide plenty of storage space for the subletter, including closet space, kitchen shelf storage and an empty fridge. I'm flexible with start and end dates as long the sublet covers one full month of rent—feel free to email me if you have any queries. There's the additional possibility of taking over my lease starting on September 1st, which I'm open to discuss (I will be moving to a different city). Prerecorded videos available with possible Facetime and in-person walk-throughs depending on scheduling/availability. *The dog in one of the photos was a visitor. The building has a no-pet policy.

Comments: I will be away for the fall semester. Within that window of time, I'm flexible about start and end dates as long as the stay is 30 days or longer. There's the additional possibility of taking over my lease at the end of the summer
