1-bedroom unit with ocean view near UH Manoa

Description

I am a professor at UH Manoa. My family and I are looking to share part of our home (private in-law unit) with academics looking for a place to stay while visiting Honolulu. This is a furnished 1-bedroom unit with an ocean view (specifically, a view of Diamond Head). It is the downstairs in-law unit of a larger house. My family and I reside in the upstairs portion. While rather close to UH Manoa (a 7 min drive), we are on a very steep hill that makes walking the whole way difficult. There is a bus stop right outside of our place that goes to the bottom of the hill. From there, it is a 15 minute walk to the university. I am also happy to give folks a ride to the university in the morning on the days I go in. Amenities/pros: Fully furnished, private balcony, cooking basics (pots and pans), dishes and silverware, essentials (towels, soap, etc), internet, two-burner stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, access to washer and dryer (located outside), near park with hiking trails, ocean view Cons: Steep driveway to access property, older house so you hear every footstep from above, no oven, no air conditioner
