Bright, comfortable, quiet and in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal Recently retired, my apartment will be available for a period of six months between Jun 22 and December 30, 2023. It includes: a large bedroom, an office, a living room/kitchen, a bathroom and two balconies. It is fully equipped (oven, hot plate/Jenn-air, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, Dyson vacuum cleaner, TV, printer). Electric heating, Internet services, Wi-Fi, air conditioning are included in the rental. Particularities: close to a Bixi station, three minutes from a metro station, surrounded by local shops and near universities: UQAM, University of Montreal, McGill and Concordia and important cultural sites in Montreal: theatres, museums and cinemas. Il comprend : une grande chambre, un bureau, un séjour/cuisine, une salle de bains et deux balcons. Il est entièrement équipé (four, plaque chauffante/Jenn-air, frigidaire, micro-ondes, lave-linge, séchoir, lave-vaisselle, aspirateur Dyson, téléviseur, imprimante). Chauffage électrique, services Internet, Wi-Fi, air conditionné sont inclus dans la location. Particularités : à deux pas d’une station Bixi, à l’espace trois minutes d’une station de métro, entouré de commerces de proximités et près des universités : UQAM, Université de Montréal, McGill et Concordia et des lieux culturels importants montréalais : théâtres, musées et cinémas. As for my apartment, in addition to being very well located, it is on the first floor of a building on a quiet and very pleasant street. It is near two large parks. The first one, Laurier park, is located just at the end of the street where I live about a three minutes’ walk. As for the second (much larger), La Fontaine Park with its lake and its open-air theatre, can be reached in 10 minutes. I really like my apartment. As you can see in the photos it is well proportioned and reflects my taste in design. I really appreciate the office space that overlooks the balcony. It is a space conducive to reflection and writing. Moreover, since my retirement I have been working on a documentary theatrical writing project on artificial intelligence, with the focus: the mutation of work. My apartment, I aim to make it available to anyone looking for a pleasant, comfortable and conducive to healing. A space that can also serve as an anchor for discovering the art of living in Quebec, its vast territories and its majestic St. Lawrence River. By renting my home, you only have to bring your personal belongings and your electronic objects: computer, iPad and Smartphone. Mon appartement, outre le fait d’être très bien situé, se trouve au premier étage d’un immeuble situé sur une rue calme et très agréable. Il se trouve à proximité de deux grands parcs. Le premier, le parc laurier, est situé juste au bout de la rue où j’habite à environ trois minutes à pied. Quant au deuxième (beaucoup plus grand), le parc La Fontaine avec son plan d’eau et son théâtre de verdure, ont le rejoint en 10 minutes. J’aime beaucoup mon appartement. Comme vous pourrez le constater sur les photos il est bien proportionné et reflète mes goûts en matière de design. J’apprécie énormément l’espace bureau qui donne sur le balcon. C’est un espace propice à la réflexion et à l’écriture. D’ailleurs, depuis ma retraite je travaille sur un projet d’écriture théâtrale documentaire portant sur l’intelligence artificielle, avec en ligne de mire : la mutation du travail. Mon appartement, je vise à le mettre à la disposition à toute personne qui recherche un lieu agréable, confortable et propice au ressourcement. Un espace qui peut également servir d’ancrage permettant de découvrir l’art de vivre au Québec, ses vastes territoires et son majestueux fleuve Saint-Laurent.
