Cornfield Point Beach Retreat

We are spending three months in this house in the fall 2022, while on sabbatical at Wesleyan. We have nothing but good things to say. The house is located 100 meters from the ocean, with access to a private beach that belongs to the community. From the deck upstairs you get a nice glimpse of the sea. The area is quiet and very friendly. Our hosts Marc and Stephen have been incredibly welcoming and helpful, If there is anything we need, they'll fix it. The house is well equipped in all respects, and has nice and quite backyard, with a priceless outdoor shower. By car, we are five minutes from the centre of Old Saybrook, which has everything you need in terms of shops and restaurants. Looking forward to next two months!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at 13 Billow Road and could not recommend it more! The house is incredibly cute and cozy, beautifully decorated and comfortable, and with every amenity. It was roomy enough to house my visitors, yet perfectly sized also for 1-2 people. It has a beautiful backyard and balcony/upper deck, the latter with a glorious view of the sea. The house is located in a very charming part of Old Saybrook, right next to several beaches with stunning views. Stephen and Marc are the most amazing hosts, so helpful and responsive and they really take care of both the house and their guests. I could not have asked for a better stay and I would go back in a heartbeat if I had another sabbatical coming up!
