Cozy Midcentury Family Home in Northeast Seattle

Close to schools, restaurants, parks, and with easy access to the UW, Children's Hospital, and UW Bothell, our home is a quiet retreat from the hustle of Seattle. The inside has mid-century style, while the private deck and spacious backyard let you relax with the trees and the birds. Each bedroom is good-sized with its own full-sized closet, blackout blinds, and near-silent ceiling fan. A gas fireplace for cozy evenings, high quality appliances, and a one-car garage make living here easy, whether you are on your own, with a partner, or bringing a family. We're a family of four -- two English teachers at local community colleges, and two young children -- who will be living nearby in a house we're renovating. There is an apartment in the basement with a lovely single tenant and her elderly dog. Laundry is shared by the two units, but they are otherwise totally separate and private. We're happy to arrange virtual or in-person tours.
