1 bedroom, and 1 master living room in a shared house (share bathroom and kitchen with one other). Available May 12th-26th $45/day (pro-rated) St Clarens Ave and College St. Hello! My roommate and I have shared a large, sunny 3-bedroom, 2-story apartment for 4 years (I’ve lived in this apartment for 16 years). We each have our own bedroom and living room and share the bathroom, kitchen, front porch, and back yard. I’m travelling in May and looking for the right person to sublet my space. About the apartment - You will have your own bedroom and living room. Your bedroom is upstairs and gets a lot of sunlight. It has a queen bed with a new semi-firm mattress with memory foam top. Your living room is the larger, main room of the apartment and also gets a ton of light. There is a bay window with a desk for your work-space. Comfy sofa, 60-inch smart TV (Netflix, Crave, Disney, Prime). You would share the decent-sized bathroom and large fully-stocked kitchen with my roommate. There is also a shared front porch with large porch sofa and a shared rustic backyard (shared with long-time basement apartment neighbour). There is coin laundry in the basement or a laundromat down the street. About the house/accessibility - The apartment is on the top 2 floors of a classic subdivided, semi-detached Toronto home. We are smoke and pet free. There is currently no one in the main floor apartment and our neighbour lives in the basement apartment. There are 2 staircases to climb. Smoke is ok outdoors, no visual fire alarms. We are a POC/queer/trans positive home (including the house-neighbours). About the location - We are located on a quiet street amidst one of Toronto’s trendiest neighbourhoods, known by many names; Little Portugal, Bloordale Village, and Brockton Village. We are near transit stops in all directions - both College and Dundas streetcars (east/west) and Lansdowne bus (north/south) are 3 min walk away, Lansdowne Subway Station is a 5 min walk. Close to No Frills grocery store, Dufferin Mall, Dufferin Grove Park (farmers market every Thursday), bars, coffee shops, art galleries, restaurants, vintage shops, small rep theatres, etc. About us - I’m in my early 40’s and work in/teach performance and multiple universities. You will be sharing space with Marina. She’s in her mid-30’s, and works as a biologist at UofT. We're very clean, and respectful. We keep quite independent, busy lives and the house runs on easy-going, open communication. We are tenants renting from the home-owner. About you - I’m looking for someone who is also (very) clean, mature, and respectful to fit the vibe of our happy home. Apologies, but we cannot accommodate couples or pets. If you're interested please message with a little bit about yourself.
