Large flowering backyard, outdoor wooden deck, patio, second screened-in outdoor deck perfect for dining outdoors without mosquitoes! Silver Spring is a popular Washington suburb, just over the District line, with its own lively downtown with the treasured American Film Institute screenings, Majestic movie theater, international restaurants and cafes with sidewalk seating, pedestrian zone, lively weekend farmers market, Whole Foods Market, free summer concerts. Walking to the farmer's market with our toddler is a weekend ritual. The neighborhood is full of playgrounds. Our friendly neighbors work in radio, for nonprofits, academia, government, NIH, NASA, and other professions, since the neighborhood is so convenient to DC and area institutions and universities. We are a German and American academic couple with many years of experience on both sides of the subletting and home exchange process. We are sure you will enjoy your stay in our wonderful home.
