Huge, sunlit, furnished bedroom (20’ X 12’) available in a gorgeous, 3-story, art deco house on Brookings Street, Bedroom is on the second floor with queen sized bed, eight huge windows, bureau, wraparound desk, bookshelves, reading chair, wardrobe closet, and gorgeous hardwood floors. View is of our quiet neighborhood just behind the North side of Tufts. The house has a spacious dining room with tons of light. This is a three-story house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's very quiet, peaceful and friendly, ideal for academics, writers, or others who want their home be a respite of peace and quiet. One visiting post-doc lives in the house as well as myself (writer/artist). There is also a dean who rents a room as her pied-a-terre when in town. We're often passionately (and quietly) neck deep in the work we're doing, so while we are friendly, we're not very social. :-) Utilities and biweekly housecleaning is $200/month or $50/week including all utilities: Heat, Electricity, High-speed internet (1 Gigabit), also includes all household goods (soap, toilet paper, etc.). Housecleaners come twice per month and clean all common areas and bathrooms. We're also three miles from Shannon Beach at Mystic Lake and three miles from hiking in the Fells Reservation. Our neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with excellent paths for walking/running/meandering. Whole Foods a 3/4 mile away, and there are grocery stores in Davis Sq & Porter Sq that have the 96 bus running from there directly to the end of our block.
