The apartment is on the first floor of a 3-story standalone house. We, the owners, live in the house above the apartment. However, the apartment has a separate entrance and is not connected to the upper house. Note that we have two school-age kids, who can be heard from the downstairs unit when they are awake - typically 730am-730pm. The apartment is approximately 625 sq feet in size. There are 36 stairs to the front door.
