Unit has one assigned parking space. If you know the neighborhood, you know how difficult parking is in this area as well as generally around Harvard and Porter Sqares, Central, and Cambridgeport. It is a major amenity to come home to a parking spot! 10 minutes walk to Harvard Yard, 12 minutes to Harvard Square. 10 minutes walk to Central Square T. Apartment is located on a small, quiet and leafy side street between Mass Ave and Harvard St. Very safe and residential neighborhood. Heat, water, hot water, garbage disposal included in rent. Cooking gas (ca. $12), electricity (ca. $30-40), internet extra. Washer/dryer in basement for small monthly fee. As in all buildings in the area, heating costs as paid by landlord to the building association have unfortunately gone up massively since winter 2023. Luckily for tenants, hot water and heat are included with the rent, meaning no unwelcome surprise high energy bills in the colder months. Removing the furniture from the current second bedroom and replacing it with children's beds, for example, can be discussed for a fee. Available as of early or mid-August but move-in dates are somewhat negotiable. Preference is for a year-long lease or something close to that but will consider shorter stays for one semester.
