Description
We are a queer couple living on a gorgeous 40 acre heritage farm in Eastern Ontario halfway between Montreal and Ottawa (McGill, Concordia, Ottawa U, Carleton). We are looking for a sabbatical exchange with someone(s) who are interested in having some sabbatical time in a beautiful rural property with a lovely separate office/guest house, and opportunities for riding, walking, and being in nature. I am hoping to go to the University of Edinburgh or University College London but have not made arrangements yet so am very open to anywhere in the UK. My partner's family is in the UK so it would be great to spend a month in the UK in the 24/25 academic year. However, we are really open to negotiations.

Comments: MerryMac Farm is on 40 beautiful acres with a completely renovated 1860 stone farmhouse, Icelandic horses and riding trails. We are between Ottawa and Montreal with a train in Alexandria, ten minutes away. We would leave a vehicle for your use.

We have 5 Icelandic Horses, a mule, a mini, 3 kune kune pigs, 20 chickens, 10 barn cats, 2 pyrenees dogs, and one naked house cat. We would hired someone to feed but we would need someone comfortable with animals and able to keep an eye out

Comments: I have not arranged my visiting professor dates in the UK yet so I can be flexible in the 24/25 academic year. Hoping to be in the UK--Edinburgh or London primarily. Keeping an eye on folks coming to care for animals would be appreciated
