Home in leafy suburb near Cambridge and Boston

We are a semi retired couple from the Boston area wishing to spend extended periods in Washington D.C., where we have family, and England, where we enjoy long distance walking in the countryside as well as the historic sites. Although our home is quite spacious, we prefer to exchange with another couple as our home is not particularly well set up for families. The main bedroom and bathroom offered for the home exchange is a private space on our third floor accessible by two flights of stairs., so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There are two extra bedrooms/bathrooms available for guests on the second floor, and the entire first floor is available for use. Lexington, Massachusetts is a lovely suburb 10 miles from Cambridge and 15 miles from Boston. There is a city bus at the end of our street which takes you to the subway and all points in those two cities. There is a bike path that also goes to the subway. Lexington is a walkable and bike friendly town, with a small center with shops and restaurants within an easy stroll and a grocery store just a bit further. If you need access to a car, there is a rental agency in town. At the end of our block there is conservation area with walks through forest and meadows, and there are green spaces all around town. There is an excellent public library and some cultural events are offered in the town concert hall.
