My husband, who is a professor at MIT, and I are looking to rent out our home for June and July 2024. It’s a fully furnished 3-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, a living room, a balcony, renovated kitchen and bathrooms, and a library/office space. Our apartment is located on the top floor of a 3-story private apartment complex on Pleasant St. in Brookline. We are walking distance to Coolidge Corner and Fenway with organic grocery stores, independent coffeeshops, restaurants, etc. Brookline is home to mostly young families with kids and some of the best public schools in the country, we have the highest concentration of PhD and MD degrees in the country they say :) with lots of parks nearby for picnics or dog walks. The apartment has 9ft high ceilings, recently renovated and polished wooden floors, and lots of books in Russian, English, French, and German as well as lots of colors and art from our travels. We also have a large collection of board games though our children are now both in college. We have lived in this location for many years and love walking to Harvard or MIT, biking into downtown Boston, or taking the MBTA train directly to the city, both the B and C lines are 5min walk away. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay - espresso machine (Rancilio Silvia), coffee grinder, dishwasher, washer and dryer, music system, yoga mats, and full-screen projector, as well as parking space. Kids, pets, and guests are always welcome. We have friends and family nearby who are always available would you need anything. We love this home and are excited to share it with someone who will love it too :) Available for June and July 2024, only.
