Near Huntington Library, Caltech/JPL/Art Center/Occidental College/USC on quiet Tree-Lined Street, South Pasadena , CA. Perfect space for a single quiet person in need of a short or long term stay, holiday or summer rental while visiting SoCal (sorry we do not accept pets). Single story home located in a very quiet older neighborhood, on a tree-lined street in the lovely, small community of South Pasadena. The rooms are furnished with a double bed (linens included), desk/desk chair and bookshelves along with a private kitchenette, private bath, walk in closet and access to an adjacent deck and garden (some call it a little paradise). Amenities: free WiFi, kitchenette with two burner hot plate, microwave, small frig/freezer, coffee-maker (drip), toaster, electric water kettle, rice cooker and all necessary utensils. Shared laundry facilities are also available. The neighborhood has many peaceful streets to stroll on. It is within many walkable stores, cafes, parks, nature trails and a Trader Joe’s just around the corner (affordable gourmet neighborhood market). We are within walking distance to Metro/South Pasadena Station Goldline (1.5 blocks away) directly to Union Station and FlyAway Bus to LAX. Neighborhood offers parks, a weekly Farmer’s Market (Thursday afternoon/early evening), the Arroyo nature reserve, nature trails, South Pasadena restaurants and outdoor cafes, local pub, yoga and exercise studios, community library, banks, post office, track at local high school, YMCA, biking, jogging and hiking paths in the neighborhood all nearby the San Gabriel mountains and Old-Town Pasadena which is walkable and/or 2 Metro stops away, Easy access to 110, 134, 201 and 10 Freeways, 10-15 minutes drive to Caltech, JPL, Rose Bowl, Art Center, USC Keck Medical Center, Occidental College, CalStateLA, Pasadena City College, East Los Angeles City College, Huntington Library.
