We are a family of four that lives in our Connecticut house full-time so are barely ever in Brooklyn - maybe 1-2 evenings/month, and it's usually just one of the adults. You basically have the place to yourself! Your bedroom has a queen bed, desk, gigantic closet, shelves, and a nightstand. Shared kitchen and living spaces fully stocked with furniture, cooking and eating supplies, coffee pot, etc. Meaning that our space is move-in ready! We have new appliances, which include washer-dryer, dishwasher, and mini split air conditioning units throughout, a rare find in NYC. Our home is in the heart of brownstone Brooklyn and is by almost every subway line in NYC and also the Long Island Railroad at Atlantic Avenue: 15-20 minutes to NYU, 30 minutes to Fordham University-Lincoln Center, and 45-50 minutes to Columbia, 20 minute walk to Pratt. It's the corner of the Olmstead-designed Fort Greene Park, and in walking distance to two movie theaters, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Barclays Center, two Targets, a Whole Foods, a Trader Joes, the Saturday farmers market, and countless cafes and coffeeshops. Background and credit checks will be run. No smoking, drugs, or any pets.
