Description
Hello, my name is Kathy. I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived in Palo Alto for the past 25 years. I spent 1 year studying in Padova, Italy which was a highlight of my college experience and then lived in Iwata, Japan for 2 years teaching English on the JET program at Iwata Minami High School. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had those work/travel experiences. My husband and I both current work in high-tech. When we are not working we like to spend time at our cabin (Donner Summit) skiing in the winter and hiking/biking/kayaking/SUP-ing in the warmer months. We live in the main house on the property so we're readily available to help with anything and care for the guest house, as needed. I'm a proud UC Irvine alum. My husband graduated for Cal Poly, SLO. Our 2 sons are currently studying at San Diego State University. Our older son is excited to be leaving this summer to study abroad in the Fall of 2024 in Barcelona.
