Our 2-bedroom 2-bathroom flat is on the top floor of the tallest building in Marrickville in an award-winning architectural project with views of the Harbour Bridge and CBD skyline. The building was designed with sustainability and passive energy in mind, so although there is central HVAC, you will hardly need to use it. The flat is about 3 years old and fully furnished with modern appliances and furniture that all are less than 2 years old. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite with plenty of wardrobe space and access to the balcony. The second bedroom is set up as an office with electric sit/stand desk, ergonomic Aeron desk chair, and an ultra-wide curved external monitor for your use. This room gets amazing sunset views- great incentive to stay put and get some work done. The lounge room has a massive sectional and 65-inch UHD smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need- microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, soda stream, pots, cooking utensils, etc. Both bathrooms are the same size with walk-in showers. The balcony has comfortable seating and district views out to the CBD skyline. You'll definitely be enjoying nightly sunset drinks out here. Marrickville is the hippest neighborhood in Sydney at the moment with breweries, cafes, bars, restaurants, and live music options all within 5-15 minute walk of the flat. Essentials like groceries, coffee, gyms are all less than a 10 minute walk. Non-essentials such as the best bakery in Sydney are around the corner (Google Goodwood Bakery). The award-winning Marrickville library is next door with private study rooms and the best coffee in town. The Marrickville train station is a 10 minute walk away and the Sydenham station is a 15-20 min walk. Buses that go straight to University of Sydney and UTS stop one block away. My partner and I LOVE this place and would like to share it with the right person while we're away for 2 months. It would be ideal for a single person or couple. The flat is not suitable for children and we don't allow pets or smoking. There are no chores to do and we include a cleaner every 2 weeks. Utilities are also included.
