We have a beautifully-maintained, family-friendly home in Ravenna, one of the most walkable and green areas of Seattle. We are very close to the University of Washington, and very accessible to downtown, Capitol Hill, the airport, and other parts of the city. Our 3-bedroom home is just a few blocks from public transport (the light rail, 62, 45, and other buses) which go downtown and to the airport. We are also a very short walk to the beautiful Ravenna park and ravine, an independent bookstore and cafe, restaurants, grocery stores, gym (LA Fitness), yoga studios, a fruit and veg shop, and more. Green Lake and Magnuson Park are nearby so there is plenty of other green space around! The neighbourhood is safe and walkable, and the main streets have separate pathways for cyclists. Our home has two floors and is fully wheelchair accessible on the main floor, with a wheelchair ramp and porch out front. The main floor has a large living room and dining area, a kitchen that opens up to a balcony (beautiful sunsets!), and an en suite bedroom that is currently set up as an office/playroom (but could be turned into just a bedroom with a queen bed per guests’ wishes). The room has a futon couch that is perfect for guests and a wheelchair accessible bathroom/shower. The balcony leads down to a small, fully fenced drought garden with a table and chairs (also wheelchair accessible from the driveway). A staircase near the front door leads upstairs to a room with two single beds (currently set up as a children’s room), a small office with a skylight, which is adjacent to a full bath and a bedroom with a skylight. The office can be made into a private space with all doors closed, but please note that it must be walked through in order to access the upstairs bathroom and third bedroom. There is a fully separate ADU beneath the house that we rent to quiet, respectful tenants. The entrance to the ADU is behind the house and no engagement would be needed nor space shared (the electricity panel to our house is separate, etc). The house has a shared driveway on either side but, per neighborly agreement, is not used except to unload groceries/suitcases. We are able to offer a guest parking pass that can be used 24/7 for street parking. Our car may be made available upon discussion, as well as a bike and helmet. We are currently looking for short-term tenants for end of June/part of July as well as mid/end August 2024, and potentially short-term in fall; we are also looking for longer-tenants for 2025, with some flexibility with dates and a reduction in price for longer stays. In short, please be in touch to enquire if you’re interested and we can discuss prices and see if our timing can match up. Finally, if a family with younger children is looking to rent, we are happy to leave books, toys, games, etc. If not, we will clear everything out! :)

Comments: One bedroom is currently set up as a children's room with 2 single beds. The downstairs bedroom can be set up as an office/playroom/bedroom depending on needs - we are happy to adapt it. Wheelchair accessible shower and balcony on main floor.
