Though a teacher and administrator in public education, I also had adjunct status at the University of Utah. My recent retirement has left me searching for a wonderful way to spend the last third of my life. As an activity buff, I plan on taking advantage of the free skiing till I am 90.

I am exploring house sitting options in areas in which I would like to visit or reside for short periods of time. I am a nonsmoker and physically active and very healthy. If I stayed in your house it would be well cared for as would be any pets, plants, etc. I would hope to find a good fit that is advantageous to both parties. I currently house sit for friends in the St. George, UT area of Kayenta when I need a break from the snow.

I love the mountains and snow, but I also love sunshine and warmth.

I am currently fostering a miniature schnauzer which I may or may not keep. She is a well behaved animal with no bad habits and oblivious to cats. I have a Yale Law graduate son who lives in California and takes improv and stand-up comedy classes. I hope that reflects well on me. I am truly quite proud of him.

I am single and recently retired from public education after 24 years of teaching and administration. Travel has always been my passion. I have a keen interest in foreign countries and cultures. I am very fit and highly active. I do the Bolder Boulder 10K yearly (at least for the last 15) as my personal measure to prove I am keeping up with the years. (Besides, it is fun) I love animals and children and teens. And they seem to love me. I live in a beautiful canyon located 10 minutes from the University of Utah and downtown Salt Lake. It is a mere 30-40 minute drive to the "Greatest Snow on Earth", home of the 2002 Winter Olympics. I am an avid skier and hiker.
