Our home is a 2-minute walk from Natick center, where you will find the commuter train service into Boston in addition to shops, restaurants, cafes, ice cream shop, center for the arts, library, etc. Our street is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. There is a park and playing field just around the corner. During the summer there is a farmers market on the weekend, and nightime concerts for children and adults on the Natick commons.
Our house is a beautiful, immaculate, renovated farm house. It is very bright and cheerful! The floors are hard wood throughout. There is a large kitchen with island and a open, adjacent dining room with round table. The living room is brand new with cathedral ceilings and a gorgeous gas fireplace that is perfect on a winters night. There is also a family room that is currently set up as a play room. Upstairs there are 3 good sized bedrooms and a bathroom with a walk in shower. There is also a bathroom downstairs with a claw foot tub to relax in. The windows are new and double glazed throughout. There is a farmers porch on the front of the house and a secluded deck on the back overlooking a well landscaped backyard with plenty of room to run and play. We are also down the street from a park and some woods that have lovely trails. Our neighbors are very friendly.
Natick was founded in 1651 and lies just 15 miles west of Boston. Boston is a fabulous city to explore, and only 25 minutes on the train from Natick. Exciting and diverse, there is a wealth of cultural and historical attractions in the city as well as numerous beaches, parks and nature preserves in the surrounding area. Proximity to major highways makes travel easy - an hour to Cape Cod or New Hampshire, and four hours to New York City.
This home is big enough for a family or perfect for an individual.
