Our cottage style home has three bedrooms. We have a garden surrounding the house and an office with broadband and power in the garden, for those who want to work out of the house. We have a large entry area with plenty of space for storage and hanging coats. This leads to another entry area through to dining area and sitting room with open fire. There's a huge smallbone dresser for wine, dinner service and storing a huge amount. The is mostly free-standing, but easy to look after. Ther is a large full height fridge in the kitchen, and a full size freezer in the laundry space. The kitchen has dishwasher, gas hob, double oven, microwave, mixer/foodprocessor, larder cupboard and plenty of storage space. The small laundry off the kitchen, houses the freezer, cleaning equipment and the washing machine and tumble dryer. There's access through here to the back garden area and the external office. The bathroom is recently re-fitted and has a pumped shower, so the pressure is fine! The main bedroom has double doors onto one of the side gardens. There is a wall of wardrobes and an internet connection/and hidden TV in the wardrobe. The other 2 bedrooms are small doubles with wardrobes and storage. The village is an easy and beautiful 12 mile drive from Oxford. It is a lovely village with a huge green and adventure playground on it. There is a pub and active social scene if you want to be involved. There are lots of beautiful rides and walks aroud the village. You can fish in the village pond, pick from 3 local golf courses, ride and there's so much more. Shopping at Bicester Shopping village, Thame, Oxford and quick bus/train trip (1 hr) to London. Kiddies can get the various buses to the local schools. Catchement area for the Aylesbury Grammar schools and for Waddesdon, Brill and Lord William. For children of all ages plenty of clubs in the surrounding areas. There are lots of children in the village of all ages.
House and office have good broadband internet access. The house has Sky+ which currently has a subscription which includes national and international calls and the children's channels, documentary and home interest channels. The box also allows you to record programmes to watch when you have the time!
The house is fully equipped - down to linen being provided if wanted. |
