Home is in a private planned community with golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools, health club, casual restaurants, fresh lake beach access, hiking trails, creek for fishing. Proximity to national forests, state parks on Puget Sound, sailing, snow skiing. 15-20 minutes by car from Western Washington University, Whatcom Community College and Bellingham Technical College in Bellingham, about 1 hour from Vancouver, BC and 1 hr. 20 minutes from Seattle. Possible car and ski boat use with house rental. Available dates are somewhat flexible, beginning late June 2010 and ending late December 2010. Will happily consider any stay from two months to 12 months in length, though ideally we seek to settle for six months. |
