Brien and I are a happily married couple with 7 children and grands between us. We enjoy travel as well as hosting friendly, quiet, considerate individuals or couples who enjoy a completely remodeled 1940s home. This Spanish style house has new plumbing, electric and HVAC. You will find heated bathroom and kitchen floors along with all new GE, Bosch, and LG appliances. Enjoy time on the oversized stone patio which includes a grill and patio seating. Read a novel on the wooden deck outside the main bedroom and watch the deer as they wander through the yard. The main bath is spacious and includes a large soaking tub along with a walk-in shower. The closet has ample room and built-in dressers. The two bedrooms enjoy a Jack/Jill bath with walk-in shower and separate sinks. The kitchen is state of the art with an induction cooktop and custom-made copper vent. Lampasas is a vibrant Texas town of 10,000+, with A rated schools and a great high school which includes all sports (think "Saturday Night Lights"). Fishing and hunting are nearby along with the Highland Lakes and a few honkytonks to visit and listen to live music. Two wineries are just down the road. Chili cook-offs or a rodeo are annual events. In the summer, you can experience "Spring Ho", a week-long event for the whole family. German, TexMex, Italian, or BBQ are all available in town along with a great local coffee shop and Starbucks. Swim in our spring fed pool in the summer or golf at Hancock Golf Course. There are two gyms in town along with Putters and Gutters (mini golf and bowling) that now has new indoor pickleball courts. Running, hiking, or biking are great in Lampasas with some flat roads and others that have large hills to overcome! 205 S. Arnold enjoys many trees, most being pecan or live oak.
