Just minutes from UC Berkeley, or a short 20 minute drive to San Francisco. This is a summer sublet, with a minimum stay of 4 weeks. All utilities are included and there is a $300 cleaning fee. The remarkable views of San Francisco Bay offer breathtaking vistas by day, spectacular sunsets at dusk, and twinkling lights of San Francisco's skyline by night. Built in the 1940s by a student of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the house is spacious and offers a lovely setting for quiet study or entertaining. Living space Welcoming, spacious living room with views over the San Francisco Bay and a working fireplace well appointed with mid-century modern furniture. The dining room has a double-height ceiling, and bar and opens onto the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well-equipped and loved by chefs of all walks of life. It features a large fridge, electric kettle, expresso machine, coffee grinder, toaster oven with air fryer, juicer, dishwasher, filtered water/ice, proper oven, and 4-burner gas range. The kitchen opens onto a deck with an outdoor dining table and large Weber BBQ. The deck over looks the backyard where the kids can jump on a 12' trampoline (at their own risk!). There is 65 inch TV in the family room next to the kitchen with apple TV and an all region DVD player. Bedrooms The master suite opens onto the garden. It has a king-size bed, lots of storage and a recently refurbished bathroom with 8ft walk-in double shower. There are two additional bedrooms on the upper level – one with a standard double bed and the other is furnished as a children’s bedroom with a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate toilet on the upper level. There is also a fourth bedroom currently configured as a den/playroom with a pull out sofa bed and keyboard. Accessibility The house is located in the middle of a generous parcel, down a flight of stairs (57 steps) which maximizes views and privacy. Location The house is located close to Berkley and near amenities including Arlington Park, Blake Gardens and BART. It is close to Tilden and Wildcat regipnal Parks and near multiple vibrant commercial and transit corridors (minutes from BART, I-80, and I-580). We are looking for an individual, couple, family or small group of adults to enjoy this lovely home for the summer.
